The programme at Alma is curated by the four co-directors, which means the majority of exhibitions, performances, residencies and events that happen in the space are developed by us. We do not programme exclusively from submitted proposals but we are interested in collaborating with curators and artists for future projects.

Alma is not a gallery for hire, so before you submit a proposal, we strongly advise you to be familiar with the space, our approach and the work we have shown, and take a look at the archive of previous exhibitions to get an indication of the work that we exhibit.

When submitting a proposal please include:

1. Clear summary of the project (1 A4 sheet)
2. Images that reflect the project you are proposing
3. CVs of all the artists in the proposal
4. CV of the curator (if you are intending to curate the show)
5. Any funding information
6. Supporting video materials if applicable
7. Your contact details

All submissions will be viewed as part of the ongoing process of selection that happens throughout the year.

Alma Enterprises is a not-for-profit run space. We do not provide funding but can assist in funding applications for projects developed with us.

Unfortunately due to the amount of proposals sent in we are unable to give individual feedback or return work.
