Tension Fold

The collaborative group P1orn have taken over the Alma Enterprises gallery space to create and install sculptural and performance elements for the exhibition ‘Tension Fold’.

‘The exhibition is an intense and potentially explosive collaboration between the artists Alex Baggaley and Ben Tomlinson.

The piece will be constructed entirely from scratch and dictated by what materials are found in the local area and in the back rooms of the gallery. Governed by the improvisational, the spontaneous and with the spirit of collaboration at it’s core, the exhibition will be in a continual state of flux, morphing and evolving throughout the period of public access.

Performances
Throughout the exhibition the artists will continue to evolve the assembled structures in a series of actions or performances in which the assembled structures will be broken down and re-invented in an improvised arrangement of sound, movement and interaction with the gallery audience.

Main performance: Friday 27th May 8pm. Admission free.
