Refuge - by Phil Hunt The film centres around images of current Tibetan culture with particular reference to Tibetan Buddhism.The narrative of REFUGE focuses around the stages of the teaching practise of Lamrim in Tibetan Buddhism. This is translated in to a story that begins with dawn over home to Tibetan refugees in Dharamsala, where a young girl walks through town and up into the mountains to pray for mankind, she evolves through to being an old woman. Phil Hunt's career spans sixteen years as an advertising and music photographer. In conjunction with his stills career Phil has worked as a director and producer of commercials, pop promos as well as numerous short films. Now producing feature films, he recently made FAST FOOD and has just completed production on his second feature film CHUNKY MONKEY starring Alison Steadman.

Prince and the Pea - by David Lilley A fantasy comedy about a man torn between his desire to be rich and his reluctance to put his hand where it wouldn't normally go. It is narrated in a fairytale fashion by a child with plenty of humourand a twist at the end. The film premiered at the Bang film festival in December 2000 and is currently being considered for screening accross the globe. It was shot on DV in October 2000 in Nottingham. David Lilley has made over ten short films and has recently recieved an award from the East Midland Arts to distribute the film. He is currently working on a promo for a band.

Little Blue Spot - by Craig Grifith What would you do if you woke up one morning and discovered a little blue spot in the centre of your chest? Little Blue Spot is a short film that answers this question with a quirky and humourous look at such a predicament. It has been screened at over eleven screenings including The Surrey film festival and The BBC British Short film festival.

Elephant - by Nick Gordon Smith Jane has delusions about her house filling with voices, spirits, insects, dust, men & animals. She is sure an elephant has encamped in her bedroom.She cannot get in to the bedroom. She cannot sleep."I was throwing everything out of the bedroom window...I was hearing voicesin the house...I threw all of my belongings out of the house...and then Iwent and stood outside the house because I couldn't go back in again...yousee the voices were in the house...and the police arrived and said...'Jane would you like to go to hospital'... and I said...no, I don't think Iwould...and so I went back inside the house..."

Rage - by Mark Norfolk Rage was made in 1997 as a memorial to Stephen Lawrence, a young black student who was attacked and killed by a gang of white youths. The subsequent bungled investigations by the police and prosecution services precipitated the film which explores the feeling of helpless rage that people feel at injustice. Mark Norfolk graduated as a filmmaker from Cardiff University. He has since made a number of short films and is currently in post production on his first feature film, Love is not Enough.

Jumping on the Wing - by Stuart Gazzard The Story of how an eight year old girl followed a beer drinking, football watching, taxi riding dog across London.The two guide us through a day in the city offering an authentic visual document of the capital to accompany the fictitious and, at times, surreal account of their journey. Stuart Gazzard has made five short films that have been exhibited at various International festivals.

He is also a film editor and is currently working on a feature from US independent film company Next Wave called The Trouble with Men and Women. This follows work on promos and commercials as well as additional editing on last years Human Traffic.
